About Melissa
I love working with children. It has been my passion since I was a little girl. I come from a long line of teachers. But my favorite part is when the light bulb goes off and they get it and the joy and smile on their faces knowing they finally understand the problem, then I get to do the happy dance with them.

With my afterschool kids. We do homework everyday. Math, ELA, Science and Social Studies. I work with all 28 kids daily and grade their work daily. I even help my 2nd and 3rd graders with their spelling words. Then on Thursday we have a practice test to get them ready for their big test on Fridays.
