About Euge
I have a Master's in Music from MTSU, where I studied Latin Music. I have taught at MTSU, Vanderbilt, and Belmont.
These days, I play in bands around Nashville and fill in as a sub. I am fluent in Salsa, Cumbia, Bachata, Latin Jazz, and funk.

We will first learn the basic sounds and rhythms of congas, bongos, and/or timbal, and learn to play them along to a clave and other rhythms Once our sounds are distinguished, we can learn to read and play charts! This includes learning song structures and learning classic repertoire. After those basic skills, we practice soloing. Soloing is where you truly grow into an amazing percussionist!
