About Tyleesha

My name is Tyleesha. I have a deep love for Afrikaans, it was always my favorite subject in school. I always obtained 100% every term and every year up until my matric year. I’ve seen firsthand how many learners struggle with Afrikaans — not because they can’t learn, but because they haven’t been taught in a way that works for them. That’s why I became a tutor: to help students build real confidence, not just memorize for tests. I believe every child has potential, and my goal is to make Afrikaans feel more approachable, more enjoyable, and less stressful for learners from Grades 4–7. Teaching allows me to share knowledge in a way that’s patient, creative, and tailored to each child’s needs.
