About Tshepang
What makes my teaching Afrikaans unique is not just my teaching experience, but also my own journey with the language. I started Afrikaans Home Language at the age of three and continued right through to matric. As a black girl who has loved the language from the beginning and can speak it fluently, I understand both the challenges and the beauty of learning Afrikaans. Because of this, I connect with learners on a personal level, I know what it’s like to grow into the language, to build confidence, and to enjoy speaking it in real life, not just in the classroom. My lessons aren’t about memorizing, they’re about helping learners truly understand, use, and even enjoy Afrikaans, while boosting their confidence and results.

My Afrikaans lessons are unique because I combine strong academic knowledge with a personal passion for the language. Having studied Afrikaans Home Language from the age of three through to matric, I know what it takes to master the subject, not only in exams, but in everyday communication.
I focus on making Afrikaans simple, engaging, and practical by adapting my teaching to each learner’s needs. My goal is not just improved marks, but also building confidence, fluency, and a genuine enjoyment of the language. Learners leave my lessons feeling more capable, motivated, and ready to succeed.
