About Mara

I am an online tutor as well as a tour guide in beautiful Cape Town - South Africa. I have been tutoring on/off for many years, mainly private tutoring and a maximum of 3 children at once. I prefer one-on-one tutoring or small groups - that way it is easier to spend more quality time with the student.

About the lesson

I adapt my teaching method to what suits the student best, as every individual is different. I use PowerPoint Slides and flash cards and work at the pace and level of the student. I am open for suggestions and encourage students to ask questions during the lesson. Active participation is strongly encouraged.
