About Hendrika
I am an Afrikaans speaking person and a lover of languages.I am studying towards a Psychology degree,and have done many short courses in various subjects. I had a distinction in Matric for Afrikaans and absolutely love the beauty of the language. I also have helped my son to get through to semi- finals of the ATKV Redenaars Annual competition for the past 7years as well as getting an average over 80% in his languages at school.I love teaching and have been doing this part time for the past 20years.

I am extremely energetic and on-the-go. I am a creative soul at heart and therefore "colouring" a subject is a big part of how I teach.I break down the pieces of information to the basics and then help to build a picture of the whole. I love working with any age group and will therefore work accordingly,assessing knowledge level and work from there.Learning is fun and that is key to learning languages!
