About Flynn
I never truly understood what was going on in my head when I was growing up. I only found out about my ADHD in 2022 when I had my diagnosis. Until that point I had some difficulties in education that my teachers couldn't wrap their heads around.
This was until I met one of the biggest influences on my journey - my guitar tutor. His method was catered to my learning style and difficulties and I felt like I could do something, that I was learning fast. He kept me engaged with his enthusiasm and taste in a variety of genres. I wouldn't be the guitarist I am today without him, so I aim to bring that confidence to students I work with as they develop their playing skills and meet like-minded musicians interested in starting a band.

My lessons are built around you, not a one-size-fits-all method. Having ADHD myself, I know how traditional teaching can fall flat — so I create personalised, engaging sessions using whatever works best for each student: backing tracks, visual guides, written exercises or structured practice plans. I have A Levels in Music and Music Technology and six years of live performance experience including crowds of thousands. Lessons are typically half an hour to an hour and I welcome complete beginners through to intermediate players. Adults and neurodivergent learners especially welcome.
