About Matthew
I have been giving private piano lessons for a year now, working primarily with the 'Alfred's Basic Piano Library' books. My students have not only learned the piano but have also learned to work hard at it and find satisfaction through their achievements. I myself have been playing for 12 years, and am currently a student at the University of Utah.

I mostly teach students ages 8-15, but am willing to teach anyone that wants to learn! I teach the theory of music as well as playing piano for a well-rounded understanding. I also try to provide opportunities to perform through organized recitals. I try to balance songs that the student is enthusiastic about with songs that will push them and teach them new skills.
