About Anusha
I hold a Ph.D. in Materials Science from India and specialize in breaking down complex physics, thermodynamics, and engineering concepts into clear, actionable steps. My academic journey has given me a deep understanding of how physical laws govern real-world materials and systems.
Whether you are a university student drowning in engineering mechanics or an advanced high school student targeting a 5 on your AP Physics exam, I adapt my pacing to match your learning style.
My Teaching & Mentorship Experience
I don’t just teach theory - I have extensive experience guiding students through practical, high-stakes academic environments. My background includes:
• Lab Session Mentorship: Leading university lab cohorts, grading reports, and teaching students how to properly analyze data and errors.
• Research Project Advising: Mentoring Bachelor’s (BSc) and Master’s (MSc) students through complex theses, research design, and academic writing.
• 1-on-1 Concept Breakdown: Helping students bridge the gap between abstract physics problems and the mathematics needed to solve them.
Subjects I Teach
• University Level: General Physics (Mechanics, Electricity & Magnetism), Thermodynamics, Solid-State Physics, Materials Science, Engineering Mechanics, and Calculus.
• High School Level: AP Physics (1, 2, and C), IB Physics (SL/HL), and Grade 11/12 Provincial Curricula.
What to Expect in Our First Session
Our first 30 to 45 minute consultation is entirely free. We will use this time to review your syllabus, look over past midterms or assignments you found challenging, check our online whiteboard tools, and map out a structured plan to hit your target grades.

Teaching Methodology & Techniques: I bridge abstract formulas with physical reality using interactive digital whiteboards. I focus on teaching you how to translate complex physics word problems into structured mathematical steps, prioritizing logical derivation over rote memorization.
A Typical 60-Minute Lesson Plan:
• Reviewing previous concepts and troubleshooting homework bottlenecks.
• Conceptual deep-dive followed by solving core benchmark problems together.
• Guided independent practice on exam-style questions with real-time feedback.
• Summary of key takeaways and setting goals for the next session.
What Sets Me Apart:
My edge is my extensive academic mentorship background. Having managed university laboratory sessions and guided Bachelor’s and Master’s students through complex research theses, I know exactly how to train you to think, write reports & articles, and analyze data like a true scientist.
Who These Lessons Are For
• University Students (BSc): Engineering, physics, or chemistry majors tackling Thermodynamics, Solid-State Physics, Materials Science, or Mechanics
• Advanced High Schoolers: Dedicated students preparing for AP Physics (1, 2, C) or IB Physics (SL/HL) exams.
