About Limity
I am a USA-based female Music Theory tutor with 5 years of professional online teaching experience working with K-12 students, high school learners, college first-year music students, and beginner composers. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Music Composition & Theory Studies and later completed advanced workshops focused on academic music education, beginner composition instruction, and online theory coaching methods. Throughout my career, I have guided students preparing for school music programs, composition assignments, songwriting projects, and beginner college music coursework. I enjoy helping students understand difficult concepts through clear explanation systems and organized educational support!
I received the “Harmony Scholar Excellence Leadership Medal” and the “American Creative Composition Academic Mentor Award” for contribution to structured Music Theory education and concept-focused online learning programs. My teaching philosophy combines discipline, analytical thinking, detailed explanation, and confidence-building support to help students improve academically and creatively. I also enjoy researching film score composition techniques and designing engaging theory exercises for younger students. Welcome to my online one-to-one Music Theory lessons designed for serious students who want organized learning, strong conceptual understanding, and exam-focused music education. I teach K-12 students, high school learners, college first-year students, and beginner composers across the USA using structured and supportive online teaching methods. My lessons are created for students who want to improve their understanding of music through disciplined practice, detailed explanation, and step-by-step concept development. Students may send homework, composition exercises, songwriting topics, or theory questions before class so I can prepare personalized lessons that directly support their academic and musical goals!
In my classes, students learn notation reading, rhythm analysis, chord construction, harmony, intervals, scales, melodic writing, orchestration basics, Musicology concepts, composition structure, and songwriting development. I also teach ear training, harmonic progressions, arrangement planning, musical form analysis, and creative composition strategies.
