I am an advanced level chess player who can teach from beginner up until an advanced level. I have an ECF rating of around 1800 and it would be a pleasure to get more people into chess.

Samir is an exemplar tutor who has schooled my son, he not only divulges in deep discussions with pupils to try and coast out their discrepancies in vocabulary but also tries to teach new precise words so that he doesn’t have to use multiple words to describe things, my son has even been teaching me new words! Samir is one of the best chess players in my city with many tournament wins under his belt. I am lucky that he is a member of my chess club and I benefit from his generous, enthusiastic and patient guidance and encouragement.
He quickly adapts to the playing style and level of players to ensure that advice and help is targeted exactly where needed.

Sam gave me chess lessons when on holiday. He explains things clearly and I really felt a sense of progress . Although I knew how the pieces moved, he told me some principles of the game which meant I could strategise and have purpose with my moves. I think he knows a lot and is a great teacher.
