About Leonard

I am a Guitar tutor with more than 14 years of experience teaching college students. My approach is interactive, creative, and student-centered. I aim to make learning Guitar fun, engaging, and productive. I cover chords, scales, music theory, improvisation, and songwriting. I encourage students to compose music, perform, and explore their own style.

I also use play-along exercises, interactive methods, and digital tools to make lessons dynamic and enjoyable. I tailor lessons to each student’s pace and goals. I focus on building technical skills, confidence, discipline, and creativity. Seeing students progress, perform, and enjoy music is my greatest reward. My goal is to make every lesson inspiring, practical, and a step toward mastering the Guitar.

About the lesson

I teach guitar by combining creativity, critical thinking, and mentorship. I encourage students to explore different musical styles, improvise, and compose their own music. This approach develops technical skills while allowing students to express themselves and discover their unique musical voice.

Accountability is an essential part of my methodology. I guide students to set achievable goals, maintain regular practice, and track their progress. This ensures steady improvement while building confidence and independence.

In addition to guitar, I can teach music theory, rhythm exercises, ear training, and songwriting. Lessons are interactive, adaptable, and tailored to each student’s learning style. My aim is to inspire a love for music while helping students become confident, creative, and self-motivated musicians.
