About Christy
Completing a Master of Music in Piano Performance at Queensland Conservatorium demanded rigid discipline. Most players assume that talent replaces the grind of fundamental scale work. I spent 5 years teaching piano to students ranging from nervous beginners to advanced exam candidates.
My approach focuses heavily on pedaling technique, sight transposition, and memorization. Precision is the ultimate goal. I have guided countless students through ABRSM and Trinity exams using jazz improvisation and complex sight reading to build raw capability.
