About Ruby
Music captured my attention at 8. My home studio in Washington DC serves as a sanctuary for students ranging from 6 to adulthood. Having spent 13 years refining my craft, I assist former childhood players in regaining their footing without fixating on the past.
My practice incorporates jazz improvisation, dynamics, expression, memorization techniques, and music theory. I also emphasize rhythm, timing, pop, contemporary styles, posture, hand position, and ear training. Given my long tenure, I have guided countless individuals toward confidence.
