About Dani
With more than a decade of experience guiding students across all academic subjects, I bring a structured, student-centered approach built on scaffolding — helping learners understand concepts deeply, not just memorize answers. I tailor each session to match the student's actual testing style and thinking process, ensuring lessons stay relevant and effective. Parents and students can trust that every session is purposeful, consistent, and focused on real, lasting academic growth.
I took AB Psychology in Ateneo de Manila, and MA in Education in University of the Philippines, Diliman.

I typically handle all academic subjects for my students, helping them manage their academic workload and monitor their upcoming tests. On a regular day, we do their homework, go over the topics they are studying, and review for upcoming tests.
My approach: I use scaffolding, guiding them towards understanding instead of just giving answers straight. I analyze the way they answer to figure out where they are having trouble, then guide them from there. We work on exercises, first guided and then work towards independence and mastery (i.e. they can answer without help anymore).
What Sets Me Apart: I can analyze how my students think. I train them to notice their mistakes and truly understand them so they can avoid making the same kind of mistake again. They gain more confidence because the answers come from them — "I get it now!" is something I love hearing. I mirror the testing style of the teacher or school by looking at their past activities and quizzes. If there is no past work to base it on, I target developing higher order thinking skills (HOTS) when I give exercises.
Best for: Grade school through high school students needing extra support to keep up or get ahead. Recommended 3-5x a week to cover all subjects, 1x a week to focus on just one subject (e.g. Math).
