About Merrin
With 12 years of experience as a violin tutor, I have had the privilege of teaching school students, college students, and working professionals. I enjoy helping students explore their creativity and develop strong musical foundations.
My teaching philosophy is centered on student-focused learning. I understand that each student learns differently, so I create lessons that are tailored to individual goals and abilities. I believe that learning music should be enjoyable and motivating.
Over the years, I have successfully helped numerous students improve their performance skills and become more confident musicians. Seeing students achieve their goals and enjoy their progress has been one of the greatest rewards of my career.
I am committed to providing a supportive environment where students can learn with confidence and develop a lasting appreciation for music.

My teaching methodology combines understanding, communication, and encouragement to create a positive learning experience. I believe students achieve the best results when they feel comfortable and supported by their teacher.
For violin students, I focus on proper posture, bow control, rhythm training, finger placement, and music reading. I teach concepts progressively and adapt lessons according to each student's pace and level.
I encourage students to ask questions and provide regular guidance to help them improve consistently. I also emphasize the importance of regular practice and a positive attitude toward learning.
Besides violin, I can teach music theory, ear training, sight reading, and performance preparation. These related subjects help students develop a broader understanding of music and improve their performance abilities.
My goal is to help students become confident, skilled, and passionate musicians.
