About Celia
I am an experienced piano tutor with 10 years of teaching experience, working with high school students, college students, and adult learners. Over time, I have taught nearly 300 students and supported them in developing strong musical foundations.
My teaching philosophy focuses on patience, clarity, and steady progress. I believe piano learning should be enjoyable while maintaining proper discipline. I adapt my teaching style to suit different learning needs and personal goals.
I emphasise building strong fundamentals such as hand technique, rhythm accuracy, coordination, and music reading. I also help students understand musical expression so they can play with confidence and feeling. Real-life examples are used to make lessons meaningful.
A notable achievement in my career is helping students improve confidence and performance skills. Many learners have reached important milestones with my guidance.
My mission is to help students enjoy learning piano and develop skills that will support lifelong musical growth.

My teaching methodology for piano focuses on practical learning and steady improvement. I believe strong communication helps students learn faster and with confidence. Lessons are designed according to the student’s learning style, pace, and musical interest.
I use real-life examples such as everyday music use, live performances, and recorded case studies to explain piano techniques clearly. This approach helps students understand how lessons apply to real musical situations. Regular feedback is provided to support progress.
In addition to piano skills, I teach music theory, rhythm patterns, sight reading, ear training, chord structures, and basic accompaniment. Students also learn correct posture and effective practice routines. My aim is to help students become confident and well-rounded pianists.
