About Sily
For the past 6 years, I have been teaching guitar to high school students, college learners, and elderly beginners who want to start their musical journey. I am passionate about education and believe that music can bring joy, confidence, and peace into anyone’s life. I have taught around 150–200 students, helping each one reach their personal goals. One special milestone was helping a college student prepare a heartfelt performance for a cultural event.
They had only a short time to learn, but with practice and encouragement, they impressed the entire audience. That moment reminded me how powerful learning can be. My lessons are supportive, clear, and designed to make learning feel simple. I focus on building strong foundations and encouraging consistent practice. My aim is to inspire students to enjoy the guitar and believe in their own potential.

My teaching methodology blends structure with creativity, allowing students to learn guitar in a way that suits their personality and musical goals. I begin by identifying each student’s preferred learning style—whether they absorb information best through visual aids like chord charts, auditory repetition, or physical engagement with the instrument. This adaptive approach helps make lessons feel clear, accessible, and enjoyable for students of all ages. Flexibility is central to the way I teach. Lessons can shift between technique, theory, repertoire building, improvisation, rhythm training, or songwriting depending on your interests and level.
I also include supportive subjects such as ear training, music appreciation, and creative expression to help students develop well-rounded musicianship. Collaboration plays a big role in shaping our lessons. I encourage students to bring song ideas, genre preferences, and musical curiosities so we can build a plan together. This sense of partnership makes learning more meaningful and ensures that progress feels connected to personal passions. My classroom environment is rooted in positivity. I believe that encouragement, patience, and enthusiasm help students stay motivated and confident. Instead of focusing on perfection, we focus on progress. Each step forward—no matter how small—is acknowledged and celebrated. My goal is to support you, challenge you, and help you discover the joy of playing guitar.
