About Idan

Welcome to my profile!

My name is Idan, and I studied biology at the University of Michigan. I spent months getting to know the ACT inside and out and scored in the 99th percentile. I'm proficient in every subject area covered on the ACT (English, math, reading, and science) and can offer relevant insights into how the writers at American College Testing design their exams. My goal is to demystify the ACT and help students approach test day with confidence. As someone who went through this process, I know what it takes to succeed on the ACT and how to effectively communicate those principles.

About the lesson

The ACT isn't an insurmountable obstacle only a select few can conquer. Rather, it's a standardized exam that relies on a straightforward set of principles that can be mastered if you put in the time and effort. My general approach consists of two main elements: refreshing content material followed by diligently working through practice exams and covering important test-taking strategies, including pacing, recognizing repeating question patterns, and how to avoid common mistakes.

Every student has different needs. We can meet once to go over test-taking strategies or spend weeks relearning all the material covered on the ACT. As part of my lessons, I will make my notes, test bank (over 70 real exams), and other resources available. I'm available in the afternoons and evenings (Eastern Standard Time) on most weekdays and weekends. Please feel free to send me a message if you have additional questions and good luck on test day!
