About Helen
Teaching music is my honest way to stay connected to the stage after leaving the studio. I hold a BMus Music Performance degree from The Juilliard School. These 3 years have allowed me to refine my instruction in lead guitar and electric technique.
I emphasize music theory alongside blues progressions and barre chords to ensure technical clarity. It is genuinely enjoyable to watch students find their own rhythm on the fretboard.

Instruction begins by identifying the songs you want to play so I can build simplified arrangements that match your current speed. Because I studied at The Juilliard School, I translate complex theory into practical steps that make immediate sense for a beginner.
My 3 years of experience on stage inform how I guide your hands to produce a clean, resonant tone. You will find that even the most difficult chord changes become manageable once we break them down into consistent, repeatable movements.
