About Josue
Music has been a huge part in my life due to my cultural background and heritage. I began to take lessons of guitar since I was 12, but began to formalize my study of guitar at age 15 when I began receiving classes from a respectable professor. One year later, I was able to play any song I wanted to, and even began to compose my own! Learning Guitar is not one assignment more, it is a hobby, a discipline, and a formal study that is personally and professionally valuable!

If I could describe the guitar in any way, I'd say it is like a logic puzzle made of 6 different strings and over 16 playable frets, and each of those elements hides a note which leads to a scale, and then to a chord. My lessons are designed to approach the guitar under this puzzle idea where the student would not only interactively learn how to play it majestically and sensibly, but also to feel the music. As there is much to learn, my students begin playing guitar from Lesson #1.
My lessons are designed for people that have no prior experience or knowledge. As my student, you will begin from the very basics such as elementary music theory, knowing the strings, and the different parts that compose a guitar. Then, you will learn how to hold your guitar, and the correct technique for your hands and fingers. From there, I will teach you the logic of the strings' notes and the fretboard, so that we can begin discovering each note, scale, arpeggio, and chord. As you progress on each lesson at your own pace, you will be able to develop a deep appreciation of the music, and you will shape your own interpretation as a guitar player. And most importantly, you will be able to play confidently. I am so happy to guide you through this amazing journey!
