About LISA

Hi! I'm Thương, a Vietnamese teacher from Hanoi – the heart of Vietnam's culture.

I'm a patient, cheerful, friendly tutor who is passionate about helping international learners speak Vietnamese naturally and confidently.

In my lessons, I use real-life stories and everyday conversations to help you not only improve your Vietnamese, but also understand the culture behind the language. I’ve worked with students from Japan, South Korea, the U.S., Germany, China, and more – helping them not only master the Vietnamese language but also deeply understand the culture and people of Vietnam.

I teach in the Northern Vietnamese accent (Hanoi dialect). I also speak English (TOEIC 800+) and Japanese (JLPT N2), which allows me to explain difficult concepts in an easy and understandable way.

Outside of teaching, I love traveling, exploring, and taking international friends to discover local food, cultural sites, and hidden gems around Hanoi.

I hold a professional certificate in Teaching Vietnamese as a Foreign Language.

With over 5 years of experience, I have taught students of all levels – from absolute beginners to advanced learners aiming to use Vietnamese for work and daily life.
