About Ibrahim

Hi there! My name is Ibrahim Mohammed, and I am a dedicated and patient tutor with over 2 years of experience specialising in GCSE and A-Level Maths and Physics.

My approach to tutoring is built on patience, understanding, and a commitment to helping each student unlock their highest potential. I believe in building confidence and developing essential critical thinking and problem-solving skills that go beyond the exam hall, preparing students for future academic challenges. My own academic journey has given me a strong foundation to teach from. I took A-Levels in Maths, Physics, and Chemistry and achieved 9 GCSEs across a diverse range of subjects including Maths, Combined Science, and English. This experience allows me to understand different learning styles and the specific challenges students face.

My professional experience includes: · Over 2 years of combined tutoring experience. · Completing formal tutor training, where I learned advanced teaching techniques and classroom management strategies. · Working with a tutoring company for 3 months, delivering over 50 lessons and consistently receiving positive feedback. I ensure progress is cemented through consistent practice. I set regular homework, which I meticulously mark and review at the start of each session to identify and correct misunderstandings.

About the lesson

My passion for helping others and my expert knowledge of specifications and curriculum, make me an ideal tutor. During the first free session, I would identify what areas the student is weaker in as well as the exam board and knowledge of the student. I will aim to build your problem-solving and logical thinking skills and hopefully, you will gain more confidence to tackle challenging questions. I will mainly use past paper and exam-style questions as I believe this is the most effective way to revise for this subject.

My schedule is flexible, and I can accommodate sessions on weekdays and weekends. Feel free to reach out to me to discuss your tutoring needs and schedule a session.
