Working with teens and hobbyists often reveals a common hurdle where the fingers simply refuse to cooperate with the mind. I admit that even after 13 years of experience, the guitar still presents new challenges that keep me humble. My journey began at age 7 and eventually led to my degree from Humber. Over time, I have guided 347 students through the nuances of blues progressions and complex chord transitions.
My lessons incorporate songwriting and soloing techniques that rely on the RCM syllabus foundation. I have spent decades balancing the technical requirements of classical study with the creative freedom of improvisation.
