About Beverley
15 years experience in the accounting field. Admin, bookkeeping: debtors, creditors, cash book, recons, journals, expense variances, forecasts, budgets are part of my daily routine. Bookkeeping diploma, accounting technician (Levels NQF 3 & 4). Medium to advanced experience in excel.

Just like we are all different so should teaching skills be different. We cannot teach today's learners the way we were taught back then. Teaching skills should be adapted to the learners of today. I believe in teaching in a way that learners can relate to their everyday lives. In this way it becomes a way of life. At the end they should be able to see the bigger picture and how what they have learnt fits into it. So, even though it is basic accounting, at the end they will understand what a role it plays in the future.
