About Mosa
I am a registered Town & Regional Planner with a Master's Degree awarded in 1990 by the University of Nottingham in the UK. I gravitated into public management in the government service in South Africa, from 1995. In my career I have had the privilege of holding senior positions in provincial and national government departments, ending currently as General Manager Corporate Services which deputizes the Administrative Head, the Municipal Manager. During my recent career in the municipality, I have received the following acknowledgements -
• “Best Deputy Municipal Manager of the Year 2014/ 2015”; and “Best Business Unit of the Year 2014/
2015”

My teaching methodology is via case study, role-play and peer learning and exchange of ideas through facilitated analysis of given cases by the teacher and pupils of a given management scenario, problem or challenge. A peer solution or likely resolution is then arrived at by consensus. This methodology enabled pupils to understand that that there are often multiple ways to solve one problem and that all are correct depending on the resources, opportunities and risk to be contended with at the time the problem arises.
