About Ellie
As a Piano teacher with 11 years of experience, I am passionate about helping students achieve their musical goals through personalized instruction and continuous support. I teach school students, college students, and working professionals at various skill levels.
My teaching style focuses on building strong foundations while encouraging creativity and self-expression. I believe that learning Piano should be both challenging and enjoyable, helping students stay motivated and engaged.
My lessons include scales, chords, rhythm training, finger exercises, music theory, sight reading, ear training, improvisation, and performance preparation. I provide practical exercises and constructive feedback to help students improve consistently.
In addition to Piano, I teach keyboard techniques and music reading. These complementary skills help students become more confident and versatile musicians.
I am committed to creating a positive learning experience where students can develop confidence, discipline, and a lifelong love for music. Helping students grow and succeed remains my greatest motivation as a teacher.

My teaching methodology combines communication, creativity, flexibility, patience, and practical learning. I believe every student should enjoy learning piano while building strong technical skills and musical confidence. Every lesson is adapted to suit the student's learning pace and interests.
Students begin with posture, hand position, rhythm, finger exercises, note reading, and music theory. As they improve, they continue with scales, chords, dynamics, articulation, pedal techniques, sight reading, expressive performance, and performance preparation.
I use simple explanations, demonstrations, and interactive exercises to make learning enjoyable. Students are encouraged to understand every concept, practice regularly, and build confidence through consistent improvement.
Learning music from different genres helps students become versatile musicians. Creative activities such as accompaniment, improvisation, and musical interpretation encourage self-expression and confidence.
Besides piano, I teach keyboard fundamentals, ear training, rhythm development, music theory, sight reading, music appreciation, and beginner composition. These additional subjects provide a complete musical education.
My mission is to help students develop discipline, creativity, confidence, and a lifelong love for piano and music.
