About Romilly
I am an experienced Piano teacher with over 12 years of teaching experience. Throughout my career, I have helped school students, college students, and working professionals build strong musical foundations and develop confidence in their abilities.
My teaching style combines structure, flexibility, and creativity. I believe that students learn best when lessons are tailored to their learning preferences and personal goals.
My lessons cover piano techniques, scales, chords, rhythm training, sight reading, ear training, music theory, improvisation, and performance preparation. I focus on helping students understand music deeply while developing practical playing skills.
In addition to Piano instruction, I teach keyboard skills and foundational music theory. These subjects help students become more versatile musicians and gain a broader understanding of music.
My mission is to make learning Piano a positive and rewarding experience. Through clear instruction, patience, and encouragement, I help students achieve meaningful progress and enjoy every stage of their musical journey.

My teaching approach combines communication, creativity, flexibility, and practical learning. I believe every student deserves patient guidance and personalised lessons that help them enjoy learning while steadily improving their musical abilities.
Lessons begin with posture, hand position, rhythm exercises, finger coordination, note reading, and music theory. Once students gain confidence, they continue with scales, chords, arpeggios, dynamics, pedal techniques, sight reading, expressive performance, and stage preparation.
I use practical demonstrations and clear explanations to make every lesson easy to understand. Students are encouraged to participate actively, ask questions freely, and build confidence through regular practice and constructive feedback.
Students learn music from different genres according to their interests. Improvisation, accompaniment, and musical interpretation activities help develop creativity, confidence, and performance skills.
Besides piano, I teach keyboard techniques, rhythm training, ear training, music theory, music appreciation, sight reading, and beginner composition. These additional subjects strengthen overall musicianship.
My objective is to help students enjoy music, achieve their goals, and continue learning with confidence throughout their musical journey.
