About Louisa
Hi there!
I'm Louisa — a passionate primary school teacher and musician. I offer engaging, personalised tutoring sessions for children learning the guitar.
In 2023, I completed a Bachelor’s Honours degree in Folk and Traditional Music at Newcastle University and have since gained a PGCE and QTS.
My teaching style is kind, patient, and positive. I’ve worked with hundreds of children and always aim to understand each child’s individual needs, interests, and learning style. I create a supportive environment where children feel safe to make mistakes, ask questions, and take pride in their progress.

Having worked with hundreds of children, I prioritise adapting my lessons to suit each child’s individual needs and learning style. I strive to create a patient, kind, and encouraging environment where children feel confident, enjoy learning, and are motivated to make progress. My approach is grounded in the "I do, we do, you do" approach which gradually builds understanding and confidence ensuring that your child leaves each lesson feeling confident and happy.
