About Rini
I am a passionate and results-oriented piano tutor with 14 years of professional teaching experience. Over the years, I have successfully guided around 300 students, including high school learners, college students, and adults. My journey as a piano teacher has been built on dedication, patience, and a strong commitment to helping students grow both musically and personally.
My teaching philosophy focuses on building excellence through strong fundamentals. I believe that every great pianist begins with a solid technical base. In my lessons, I emphasise proper posture, relaxed hand position, finger independence, scales, arpeggios, chord progressions, rhythm control, and sight-reading skills. I carefully explain each concept to ensure students understand not only how to play but also why they are playing certain notes and patterns.
I design structured and goal-oriented lesson plans that combine technique, theory, and repertoire. Lessons typically begin with warm-ups and technical exercises, followed by focused work on assigned pieces. I also teach effective practice strategies so students can improve steadily outside the classroom. Regular feedback and progress tracking are essential parts of my teaching approach.
Many of my students have achieved excellent results in graded music examinations and have performed confidently in school concerts, recitals, and public events. Watching students transform from beginners into confident performers is one of my greatest accomplishments. My mission is to inspire discipline, creativity, and a lifelong love for music in every student I teach.

My teaching style for piano combines communication, creativity, flexibility, and practical learning. I focus on helping students build a strong musical foundation while enjoying the process. I explain musical concepts clearly and demonstrate techniques carefully.
Creativity is developed through improvisation and expressive playing. Flexibility allows me to adjust lesson speed and difficulty based on student progress. I also teach related subjects such as music theory, rhythm training, and ear development.
These skills strengthen overall performance ability. My aim is to guide students towards becoming confident, skilled, and passionate pianists who enjoy lifelong learning.
