About Yolanda
You will find that our time together feels like a casual conversation at a café. We focus on idioms, everyday phrases, and verb conjugation to build your confidence. My 13 years of teaching experience ensure we cover travel French and business French effectively. DELF and DALF preparation is also available if you have specific academic goals in mind.
Because chanson does not work in translation, we emphasize accent and intonation throughout our practice. Expect to leave each session feeling more comfortable with the flow of the language. Let us get started on making you sound like a local. Au plaisir de vous rencontrer.

My BA in Music gives me a unique perspective on the cadence of speech. I work with travelers, kids, adults, and conversation-focused learners. Mastering the rhythm of a language is much like learning a melody.
