• Can you tell us about your first experience using a computer?

  My first experience using a computer was during my early school years when I was introduced to a basic desktop computer. I remember being fascinated by the simple games and the ability to type and edit documents. The most striking aspect was how it made complex tasks more manageable and accessible, sparking my lifelong interest in technology and its applications.

• What is the technological evolution that has marked you most and what will be, in your eyes, a turning point in this field?

  The advent of big data and the development of machine learning have been the most impactful technological evolutions for me. These advancements have revolutionized how we analyze and interpret vast amounts of data, making predictive analytics and automated decision-making possible. In my view, the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) with quantum computing will be a turning point, offering unprecedented processing power and capabilities, fundamentally transforming data analysis and problem-solving in various fields.

• Explain your expertise, your interest in it, and, more broadly, its importance in the computer world.

  I specialize in data analysis and business intelligence, focusing on extracting meaningful insights from complex datasets to drive strategic decisions. My interest lies in the intersection of data science and business, where I can leverage analytical tools and techniques to solve real-world problems. This expertise is crucial in the computer world because it enables organizations to make data-driven decisions, optimize operations, and gain competitive advantages in their industries.

• Do so-called 'visionaries', such as Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, and Mark Zuckerberg inspire you or do you have other role models?

  The most influential visionary personality for me is the last prophet Muhammad (PBUH). His teachings on leadership, ethics, and community welfare have profoundly shaped my personal and professional life. While I recognize the contributions of figures like Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, and Mark Zuckerberg, it is the principles and values exemplified by Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) that continue to guide and inspire me in all aspects of my life.

• Provide a valuable anecdote related to your subject or your days at school.

  During my MSc in Data Science, I worked on a group project that involved analyzing public health data to predict disease outbreaks. Our team used machine learning models to identify patterns and potential risk factors. The project was a success and was praised for its potential real-world impact. This experience reinforced the importance of collaboration and the practical applications of data science in solving pressing societal issues.

• What would you say to an uncomfortable person in front of a screen who says that "IT is too complicated"?

  I would say that while IT can seem complex at first, it is ultimately about problem-solving and continuous learning. Start with the basics and gradually build your knowledge. There are many resources and communities available to support you along the way. Remember, every expert was once a beginner. Persistence and curiosity are key to overcoming the initial challenges.

• What are your other passions, related or non-related to computers?

  Outside of my professional interest in data analytics, I am passionate about photography and hiking. These activities allow me to explore my creative side and appreciate the natural world. Photography, in particular, has taught me the importance of perspective and attention to detail, skills that are also valuable in data analysis.
