About Rosie
I am an ACCA Fellow with a background in financial reporting and hands-on experience applying IFRS and UK GAAP in real-world settings. Alongside my professional work, I have always enjoyed helping others make sense of complex reporting issues and build confidence in their understanding. I started teaching ACCA FR and SBR because I saw many capable students struggling… not due to a lack of effort, but because the standards often feel abstract and disconnected from practice. My aim is to bridge that gap, helping students understand not just what the rules are, but why they exist and how they are applied in both exams and real life. I genuinely enjoy teaching and working one-to-one with students. Seeing someone move from confusion to clarity, and from uncertainty to confidence, is what motivates me. I take a patient, supportive approach and adapt my teaching style to each student’s needs, whether they are new to ACCA, resitting, or balancing studies with work. For me, teaching is about clarity, confidence, and practical understanding… and helping students achieve results they can be proud of.

My lessons are designed for ACCA FR and SBR students who understand the standards in theory but struggle to apply them confidently in exams. As an ACCA Fellow with real-world IFRS and UK GAAP experience, I teach beyond the textbook. I explain why standards work the way they do, how they appear in real financial statements, and most importantly, how examiners expect answers to be structured. Lessons are calm, structured, and highly exam-focused. We break down complex topics step by step, practise past-exam style questions, and focus on the areas that carry the most marks. I place strong emphasis on exam technique, professional judgement, and clear written answers, especially critical for SBR. Each session is tailored to your level and goals, whether you are a first-time sitter, resitting, or returning to studies while working. You can expect clear explanations, practical examples, and honest feedback to help you improve quickly and build confidence. My aim is simple: to help you understand the standards properly, apply them effectively, and walk into the exam knowing what the examiner is looking for.
