My name is Sam and I've been playing guitar since I was 12 years old (I'm now 30) I learnt to play and understand music theory firstly from a local Jazz guitarist before going off to complete formal music education and play the music I love with whoever I could find.

My approach to teaching is to keep the experience of learning your instrument fun, engaging and exciting. I find this approach keeps students more motivated and excited to learn and keeping it fun make practice an activity to look forward to.
Typically 30 minute 1 on 1 lesson are my preferred structure.
I teach anyone from ages 10 and up and from complete beginners to advanced students. You will learn practical techniques, musical theory, how to play to song you love and proper care and maintenance for your instrument and gear.
