About Prethi

Hi! I'm a passionate and friendly tutor who believes in making learning both effective and enjoyable. With strong academic skills and experience teaching students from Grades 1 to 12, I specialize in breaking down complex topics—especially in science and math, to help students feel confident and in control. I’m currently pursuing a future in dentistry, which reflects my strong foundation in biology, chemistry, and health sciences. Outside of academics, I’m also a trained Bharatanatyam dancer and a dedicated piano player, which helps me bring discipline, creativity, and rhythm into my teaching approach. I love connecting with students of all ages, building a supportive learning environment, and encouraging open conversation. Teaching Methodology & Techniques: My approach is student-centered, focusing on building a strong conceptual foundation through clear explanations, visual aids, real-life examples, and step-by-step problem-solving. Typical Lesson Plan: Each lesson begins with a brief review of previous content to reinforce retention, followed by a clear explanation of new material. The session ends with a quick summary and a short homework or practice task to reinforce learning.
