About Kiana
I have been an Academic Consultant for the last two years and have assisted over 100 doctoral candidates and other students with their thesis development. The majority of my work entails helping students improve their overall writing capabilities, but I also advise on research methods and designs to aid students in developing a successful study or thesis.

My teaching methodology is to always have a piece of writing (from a simple concept map to a full first draft of a thesis) in front of my students and I. First drafts are essential in getting ideas on paper. What I assist with is the organizing and fine-tuning of those written ideas. Additionally, my methods, while including proof-reading and editing, do not stop there. It is my goal to equip each student or client with writing tools that can help them in the future to become better writers overall.
