About Laoise
I am a classical flautist training at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Currently I enjoying teaching theory on the side of my performance life. I love working 1:1 with musicians who are learning theory and helping them progress towards their musical goals. Theory lessons can really deepen musical appreciation and definitely boosts confidence when sight reading and learning new music.

When teaching theory I break down musical concepts to ensure pupils confidently understand the fundamentals of each question. My ethos is centred around positive reinforcement that will be beneficial to the pupil's self esteem. Lessons can be 30 minutes, 45 minutes or one hour and are aimed towards pupils completing ABRSM theory grades 1-5.
