About Lo
Qualifications: Trinity ATCL Diploma in Piano Performance, ABRSM in Grade 8 Piano, Harp (Distinction) and Music Theory
I have 10 years of experience teaching piano harp and 20 years of experience teaching piano, I successfully received multiple ‘Outstanding Teacher’ Awards, and my students have consistently achieved top results in music competitions
I moved on to improve my teaching quality by enhancing my music knowledge from Hong Kong International Institute of Music, where I studied piano literature, western music history, and obtained a Diploma in Piano Pedagogy in 2009.

My students learnt to become proficient and adept in mastering piano skills, from my lessons that are tailor-made to suit my students’ needs and capabilities, as a result, many of my students won numerous awards from different music competitions.
All of my lessons are tailored to each individual student, along with the selection of piano books and curriculum, which are chosen specifically according to their experience, skills, and grades. It is taught in the most efficient and effective approaches and this includes focusing on practising skills and expressions, teaching stylistically informed piano playing skills, maintaining proper posture, hand position, and movement patterns to avoid strain and fatigue.
By developing an efficient and effective technique, my students are able to express themselves on the piano through their musical expression.
The lessons are also tailor-made according to every individual student's needs. Suitable for students that aim for playing the instrument at a professional level or for amateur learning.
