I completed VCE music 34 in year 11 and obtained a raw score of 41. I teach all age groups and levels up to grade 8 theory, from basic scales and intervals to VCE music and advanced harmony and counterpoint, particularly 17th and 18th century four-part harmony. A typical lesson length is one hour, however longer lessons can be arranged. My teaching methodology focuses greatly on the aural aspect and training the students to learn a movable 'do' if without perfect pitch. This makes harmonic dictation/imitation a lot easier. I also teach the analysis part of the VCE music paper. Lesson rates from $50, based on theory levels.
