About Abitha

I am a qualified Physiotherapist with a strong passion for teaching and mentoring students in the field of physiotherapy and rehabilitation sciences. I have experience explaining complex medical and physiotherapy concepts in a simple, clear, and student-friendly manner. My teaching approach focuses on building strong foundational knowledge before progressing to advanced clinical concepts. I emphasize understanding anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics as the core pillars of physiotherapy education. My teaching includes structured lesson plans with clear learning objectives

About the lesson

I adapt my teaching style based on the learner’s level, whether undergraduate, postgraduate, or beginner. I believe every student learns differently, and I take time to identify the most effective method for each individual. I use real-life clinical examples to help students connect theory with practical application. I encourage interactive learning by asking questions and promoting discussion during sessions.

I am skilled in teaching subjects such as anatomy, kinesiology, exercise therapy, electrotherapy, orthopaedics, neurology, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, and general physiotherapy principles. I help students prepare for university exams, assignments, presentations, and viva examinations. I also guide students in understanding clinical reasoning and patient assessment techniques from an academic perspective.

My teaching includes structured lesson plans with clear learning objectives for every session. I provide notes, diagrams, and explanations that are easy to revise and remember. I use visual aids and simplified illustrations to improve comprehension. I ensure that students feel comfortable asking questions and clarifying doubts at any point during the class.

I am patient, approachable, and supportive, which helps students gain confidence in their learning. I focus on strengthening problem-solving and analytical thinking skills required in physiotherapy practice. I encourage ethical practice and evidence-based learning in all aspects of teaching. I regularly update my knowledge to align with current physiotherapy standards and academic guidelines.

I am experienced in conducting online one-to-one and small group sessions using digital teaching tools. I maintain punctuality, professionalism, and consistency in all my teaching commitments. I believe in motivating students and helping them achieve both academic excellence and professional competence. My goal as a physiotherapy educator is to make learning engaging, practical, and meaningful for every student.
