About Thomas

I'm in my fourth year of my undergraduate degree studying English Literature and Psychology. I worked at a well-known research hospital in downtown Toronto for 3 years, because I wanted to be a clinical psychologist, but then I realized I enjoyed English much more. Last summer I spent as a research assistant for a professor at my university, helping her find articles for her research. At the end of the summer I created a poster and presented it at a conference, to show the work I had done to the grant sponsors. Currently I run a podcast about literature while studying, but my real goal is to become a writer.
I was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and currently live in Toronto, Ontario. I'm 24 years old. Please feel free to ask me any questions about myself :)

About the lesson

I have been extremely successful in my undergraduate degree. I worked as a research assistant in a lab that studied neuroscience for 3 years, and I also worked as a research assistant for an English professor for a summer. I want to give you the skills I learned to help you succeed in your undergraduate degree.
I can help you with every aspect of writing an essay: brainstorming, composing a first draft, writing a thesis, researching, finding research papers, sentence structure, paragraph structure, writing a good introduction and conclusion, grammar, forming topic sentences, staying on topic, and much more.
I can help you with an essay you have already started, or I can help you start an essay. I also have extensive knowledge on Shakespeare, poetry, British Literature, American Literature, Russian Literature, the Victorian era, Romanticism, modernism, pretty much anything to do with Literature, so feel free to ask me questions.
I love literature so much that I've even started my own podcast, Let's Talk Literature, where I interview University professors about novels. You can find it on Spotify, Google Podcasts, and Apple Podcasts.
