About Maya
After years of learning in the International Baccalaureate program for Mandarin Studies, I have every tool that you need to bring your Chinese to every academic standard of excellence. In addition, I have lived in Shanghai for over 2 months, speaking casually with natives and living everyday life in the city. Thus, I can prepare you to speak and sound like a native, as well as obtain an understanding for what everyday life is like in China.

I offer lessons on speaking, reading, writing, and listening, with an emphasis on practicing daily conversation and speech. During our immersive classes, we may cover topics in Chinese culture and media as well based on your interest. Pacing of new material, homework, and review will be determined by our schedule. I will ensure that you make significant progress during each and every session of ours.
