About Shahzad
I'm a 2nd year Medical Student at Imperial College London.
I have extensively tutored students for the past 5 years and have received excellent feedback from those I tutor. My main focus is to allow a student to be able to nail the most challenging of concepts and push themselves to achieve not only their best but the goals they gave set in mind.

As a medical student, I have taken both the UCAT and BMAT exams, achieving a 750 (top 2% of exam takers) in the UCAT and achieving a BMAT result that allowed me to get offers from Oxford and Imperial. This was only possible through the efficient and effective approach I took to studying for these exams. I hope to use these insights to help out others aiming to secure offers for medicine!
As the UCAT and BMAT are unconventional exams highly predicated on the approach taken in answering questions, my sessions focus primarily on perfecting the most effective strategies for different question types.
Simply put, I initially focus on how to approach different types of question (e.g. how to pick out key words in the verbal reasoning section instead of reading through the whole passage).
Then, as we get a grasp of the strategies to best answer each question, we follow this with practising more challenging questions and concentrating at areas of improvements!
Typically, lessons are 1 hour long but this is down to preference.
