About Clement

I'm a postgraduate Doctor of Medicine (MD) student at the University of Sydney and President of the Sydney University Medical Society, and I want to guide you through the preparation and exam technique I adopted to score:
• 100th percentile for Section 1 (77);
• 99th percentile for Section 2 (81); and
• Section 3 (79) and 99th percentile overall

In addition to specialising in Sections 1 & 2 and achieving HD in University-level ethics courses, I also graduated with a UNSW Bachelor of Engineering (First Class Honours) on the Dean's Honours List. I further specialise in Section 3 Physics, with 9+ years tutoring up to Australian Physics Olympiad level and straight HDs across Higher Physics and Mathematics courses - so let's smash those pesky questions together!

I've held additional experience writing practice medical exams for our Medical Society, working closely with the University, teaching Basic Science Bridging tutorials for our USYD MD students and would love to share my advice and experience with you.

About the lesson

You've got a few months until the GAMSAT. Whether it's your first or fifth time, what you do in these coming months will make all the difference.

I'll show you how I scored in the 100th percentile for Section 1 and 99th percentile for Section 2, without any writing background. And I'm talking NO writing background. I was an engineer working with imaginary numbers and squiggles - and trust me - if I can do it, you can too.

I also specialise in Section 3 Physics: frequently feared as the hardest topic. But with my 9+ years of tutoring experience, I'm confident you'll be writing an Oppenheimer sequel in no time.

Clement is a fantastic tutor. He explains things simply, and he is very encouraging. After just a few lessons of essay technique with Clement, my Section 2 mark jumped from a 65 to a 75! His methods are very effective, even if you have no or very little previous writing experience. I would recommend him highly.

Clem has been an incredible teacher who took the time to get to know me and go over my past attempts, to understand the weaknesses in my strategy and performance. He really helped me with building a framework for approaching my Section 2 essays, and the practice essay brainstorming sessions were amazingly useful for honing my planning, timing and exam technique on the day.

I'm grateful for his patience, how approachable he is and how he would always listen to any concerns I had and reassure me. He'd always take the time to go above and beyond to help me out even at the last minute and I couldn't recommend him more!
