My method of teaching is very basic and straight to the point, each lesson will be divided into three parts, 1st part-Understanding the Concept, 2nd part- doing basic relevant example question to more complex, 3rd part- Writing a short test
I believe in making a subject fun so students can always remember what is learnt.
I am a patient person and dedicate enough time to each student no matter how large the class is. I approach each lesson as a discussion to make sure that all my learners can keep up and have a thorough understanding of the task. Each lesson builds on what the student has learnt in the past and improves on that depending on the level at hand.
My teaching approach recognizes that learning occurs in the social context of classroom. As such knowledge is co-constructed through students’ interaction with each other and I assume the role of a facilitator. I use a discussion tool on a learning management system (e.g., Blackboard) to continue with the facilitation of discussion of the lesson and this also accommodates shy students.
I adapt my teaching method based on each individual pupil to cater for their specific needs. I understand that all of us are different and some methods works best for one while another method works better for another.
My teaching method is based on a students weaknesses, l base my classes on what the student is struggling with on a subject and topic by topic.l do not move from a topic if my student is not yet ready to move.
I would describe myself as passionate, hard-working and patient. Three traits that in my understanding enabled me to help my students achieved their goals. Typically, I start which a series of exercises on the topics to help me evaluate the difficulties of the student(s). Afterwards, I discuss with them on those difficulties and how or why they would like to overcome them.
My teaching method are pretty simple, we engage one on one on the theory behind the topic in question and obtain the understanding required for us to tackle the questions... then we head out to the questions, all kinds of questions because we understood the theory.
Making maths and science fun, showing their applications in everyday life, demonstrating technical concepts outside the books, my methods have been successful during my teaching career, students were very happy with the outcome. Now they use it themselves as teachers.
I address the learner's problems as identified by the learner to the latest topic being covered; and as per my own progressive diagnoses. Thus my approach to teaching is constructivist; acknowledging prior knowledge and then creating a discovery learning environment.
I prefer to channel the students' imagination while being very patient with them. I use repetition as well and always make sure that the student understands the work we are doing. I use tests every now and again as well.
I teach others the way I was taught and how I understand the work in the simplest way possible. I assure that my students understand the work precisely or I continue to explain it until they do. I write everything down as I teach.
I am a very attentive tutor who prioritise students academic success. I make my students understand the basics of the subject or topic before getting them to the core. This gives my class understanding of what they are about to learn.
My Teaching method is based on Demonstration method, Textbook/ Handbook Method, Group work method, and Discovery Method. My classes base on day classes, and evening classes, which includes week days and Saturday classes. These includes, but not limited to: Monitoring Learners work, and Assessing the learners based on the work they have covered.
I cater for students from primary to university level. My method is different depending on the students'need. Overall, I use everyday facts/events to bring the student to understand their maths or science work. I am always there for my students until they are satisfied with their work.
I am an Engineer,I like to assist kids from grade 1-6 with their work. Technique to be used- -Get the subjects they struggle to master. -Explain different method to solve the problem. -Give them example to check their understanding a swell. -Check if they are satisfied with the explanation given to them.
I base my lessons on real world applications of the theoretical work covered in the module and I use practical examples to ensure that the students understand the theory when it is applied in a practical level and even in their own lives. I always link the modules that share similarities in the content in order to extend the understanding of my students.
My teaching method is lecture method and discussion method.I teach from known to unknown which makes students have the basis from where we are from and where we are going.
My teaching methodology changes depending on each student's needs. However, in general, I find it very important for students to understand the concept I am teaching, so I do focus on that in the beginning. I also strongly believe practicing, i.e. solving many exercises, is very helpful in mathematics, so I prepare many different exercises for students, ranging from easy to hard.
When teaching I try my best to relate whatever we learning to real life situations. Mathematics because much simpler when you try and view it in a real world way.
I base my teaching method on having a solid foundation knowing the specific rules for each topic whilst learning it through continuous problem solving, often taught by doing the problem myself so the method is understood. Emphasis is placed on area's of struggle.
My teaching method is strategic. I Start with the most complex topics as they cover most of the exam question paper.
I have different methods for each subject. For Natural Science I prefer to teach kids to understand the work instead of just memorization, though Natural Science is a lot of memorization work. For Mathematics, I will teach kids methods on how to solve problems themselves.
I normally work with question and answer strategy whereby students come with their challenging questions to me then I will look for the best possible explanation that suits the student's understanding.
As a Maths Tutor I want my students to succeed in math. I believe that in order to achieve this the students need to enjoy Maths. By being intentional and using creative approaches in my instruction such as making jokes that help learners to remember important maths concepts; i believe I can get students excited about math.
I believe in making things practical. To achieve success in this subject, we need to realize that opportunities can be seized by going the extra mile. My lessons will be focused on getting practical, doing extra questions since we all know that practice makes perfect.
My teaching method is always about theory, especially in mathematics. I want to change the idea that formulas just appear and mathematical rules are just there, I want my students to see, appreciate and understand where it all comes from and my core belief is once they do so they will be able to answer any question given to them.
I have been teaching for the past 8 years and have experience teaching learners with learning difficulties. I am often complimented for my patience with learners. I believe that each learner has his/her own pace and that lessons should be planned according to each learner's individual needs in order to ensure that they leave with a good understanding of the work, after each lesson.
I don't just follow the syllabus. I first find out where the child is academically and from their build on that to get the child where they need to be.
My teaching method is better if we do it as a class together and demonstrate using my body or something that can make them easily remember what we did in class.
