About Glenn
I am a dedicated STEM tutor with extensive experience teaching a wide range of math subjects, from basic addition to calculus and SAT prep, as well as multiple college-level physics courses. My passion for STEM comes from a deep enjoyment of problem solving, which I believe is a vital skill that teaches perseverance and critical thinking. Throughout my tutoring, I create personalized lessons that not only help students grasp challenging concepts but also build their confidence and resilience. I strive to make learning an engaging journey so that, regardless of your initial feelings about math, the skills you gain with my help will continue to benefit you long after our sessions end.

As a tutor, I usually teach by first doing an involved lesson with a student. This means something like looking through their current topic and trying to ask them questions to gauge their understanding of the topic. This lets me know where their weaknesses are which I then use to focus on in our session, allowing them to improve where needed.
What sets me apart is my ability to really key into what students are missing and where their misunderstanding comes from. This allows me to cater my teaching style to whatever a student may need so they can always learn with me!
I typically use this style for high school and college students since they are aware of what they are missing, and with younger students I typically gauge their skill by asking them occasional questions as they do their work to double check and have them explain things to me.
