About Georgia
I studied English at Oxford and have just completed a masters in journalism. I’ve been tutoring ages 8-18 in English for 4 years and started virtual book- clubs for teens over the pandemic. I’m an avid reader and an occasional fiction writer.

I believe that success comes from trust. I like to create a friendly and informal atmosphere with my students and develop a relationship with them through which they develop a desire to succeed and reach their potential on their own terms. My lesson structures depend on age and level, but generally I like to set weekly homework and spend part of the tutorial working through language skills based on the homework. When dealing with primary texts (such as novels, poetry, plays etc) I like to structure each tutorial around a theme, context or character.
