About Samantha
My name is Sammie, I have been a teacher since 2020, after I finished my degree at home with a toddler and a newborn baby. I love teaching, it is by far my most rewarding job to date. I enjoy building confidence and getting a real connection with my students to help them. I cover anything from small talk to meetings/interviews and everything in between. I have a high knowledge of English at Work and also I love to teach phrasal verbs and idiomatic expressions to really help you gain the native/natural way of using English. I have a neutral English accent, originally from Manchester but have lived all over the UK so my accent has become very neutral. If you want positivity and energy then you have come to the right place.

My lessons are full of fun, energy and all about helping you sound more natural and native. I love idioms and phrasal verbs and how to say something how a native would. I'm passionate about English and I love to teach! Typical length is between 30-60 minutes, Personally I find 30 isn't enough time. I really like to focus on conversational help, however I can also help with Business English as I have a lot of experience helping people with Presentations and meetings. Age 18+ I am a fully qualified native English teacher, I have a degree in English Linguistics and a CELTA in teaching English as a Foreign Language.
