About Holli

I am graduate with a first-class degree in Spanish. I have worked for several year as a language assistant in a secondary school, where I have experience assisting students with written and reading comprehension, oral practise and GSCE/A-Level exam preparation. I have also given lessons to adults in order to improve their Spanish language skills for business, holiday or in preparation to move abroad.

I have lived and studied in Spain at the University of Granada. In addition to being fluent in Spanish, I have studied Russian, French and Polish, leading me to have a great understanding of the challenges of language learning and I am well versed in methods that are effective in improving your level of Spanish.

Lessons will be tailored to your individual goals which we will discuss during your first lesson.

About the lesson

My lessons are tailored to the student and will depend on their goals and ability. In general, lessons will focus on the core skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking, along with expanding vocabulary and understanding grammar.

For GCSE and A-Level students, the main focus will be on the exam syllabus, working out any issues with grammar and syntax and conversation practise in order to prepare for the oral exam.

I also teach adults looking to learn Spanish for the first time or who are looking to expand on previous knowledge and young children who wish to get a head start in language learning in a fun and informative way.
