I’m Coach Jimmy, a nationally recognized spoken word artist, rhythmic poet, educator, and mentor. A proud Hampton University alumnus, I honed my artistry and leadership while performing and teaching, turning my passion into a mission-driven career. I’ve dedicated my life to helping young artists develop their unique sound, master songwriting, performance, recording, and branding, and navigate the music industry with confidence. Through my coaching, I empower students to turn creativity into sustainable careers, build confidence on and off stage, and avoid common industry pitfalls, all while fostering integrity, resilience, and artistic freedom.
